Why papers matter more than narrative
Most property disputes turn on what the papers actually say — not on what was promised verbally. Preparing the documentation before a consultation is the highest-leverage thing a client can do.
- Sale deed and chain-of-title documents
- Mutation records, Index II, property tax receipts
- Possession evidence (letters, photographs, utility bills)
- Builder communication, allotment letters, agreements
- Earlier notices and replies
A note on outcomes
